We are very pleased to offer two brand new Makerspace courses for 2026.
These courses have been designed for beginners with basic I.T skills and require no previous experience in 3D Printing or use of a Cricut machine.

Makerspace Creative Courses
3D Printing for Beginners
Whether you're completely new to 3D printing or simply curious about the technology, this hands-on course will help you build confidence and develop new skills in a supportive environment.
Cricut Maker 3 for Beginners
Learn how to create your own designs, personalise projects using heat transfer vinyl, and confidently use a Cricut machine on your own.
Laser Cut a: Christmas Bauble
Join us at Barry Library Makerspace for a festive workshop where you’ll design and take home a Gold Mirrored Acrylic bauble featuring a location that’s special to you!
October Half Term
Calling all young inventors and aspiring monster-makers! We are thrilled to invite you to our fun and interactive 3D Print Workshop for children aged 8+.

Additional Workshops and Activities
We also run a variety of workshops for children during the Easter Holidays, Summer Holidays and October Half Term as well as one off workshops such as laser cutting a bauble for Christmas.
